Who We Are
National Methadone Clinics is an online resource for people looking into treatment for opioid use disorder. We publish general information about medication-assisted treatment, including methadone programs, so you can understand your options before reaching out to a clinic. We are not a treatment provider ourselves.
Our role is to help you find useful, plain-language guidance as you consider next steps.
How Our Helpline Works
Our support team answers questions about how methadone treatment generally works and helps point you toward publicly available treatment locators, including the federal treatment finder maintained by SAMHSA and state treatment facility directories. We do not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, or recommend a specific dose or program. If you are in immediate danger or having thoughts of harming yourself, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
For general questions, we respond by email and aim to give you practical next steps, such as how to search for clinics near you and what to ask when you call one.
Get in Touch
The easiest way to reach us is by email at contact@nationalmethadoneclinics.com. You can also find us online at https://nationalmethadoneclinics.com. When you write, tell us your city or state and what kind of information you need, such as help understanding methadone clinic admission or questions about treatment locators.
We cannot schedule appointments or connect you directly with a clinic, but we can help you find the information you need to take that step yourself.
